We will have all the fire you know us for, and also will have a special art installation by:

MIKE MAUNG

Mike has been attending Burning Man since 1996, and was one of the first artists to blow up in size 3d wood models on the playa. His first such project, was a 20 foot tall Praying Mantis he built and burned in 1999. He has since built numerous large scale, EL wire projects. In 2007 he helped rebuild the Man when the first one was burned early. In 2008 he dedicated many weeks of labor and helped build the wildly successful giant ketchup bottle/french fry stand. Additionally the Ka Pilina Interactive Arts Society, flies him out each year to build the Phoenix effigy for the Hawaiin BM Regional burn, Rebirth.
Mike is one of the unsung BM artists and we are proud to have him on board for this event.
Mike's installation at the Hawaian Regional Burn:

Mike's project for this event will be a 20' tall, fire breathing frog, that will be burned at midnight.
